The SAUERBURGER SBS enables a fully automatic grinding process with maximum precision. The knife blade is mounted tool-free on the grinding machine via a magnetic holding device.
Sensors mounted on the machine detect the position of the blade as well as the end of the blade.
At the end of the blade, the grinding wheel changes its direction of rotation depending on the feed direction, ensuring burr-free resharpening of the cutting edge.

Optimized stroke spacing for special requirements.
The largest stroke variant for long knife blades.
Provides maximum protection during the grinding process. The protective cover prevents uncontrolled flying sparks and should be used in combination with an extraction system. With the protective cover installed, the grinding machine complies with the legal requirements of the CE directive.
